There's a lot of information in this forum that might help you. I'd dig around and do some reading if I were you. Search my name for previous posts that I've shared about when I stopped smoking. Good luck and keep posting with updates!

Hi Genetics. I suggest you go out and buy a lot of cinnamon hot ball candy. When you get the urge to smoke suck on an atomic hot ball that will make your eyes burn. IF you try to smoke after one of those your mouth will catch on fire or so it will seem... it works to quit everytime... i hope that helps, or chew gum. tc

Disruption to sleep is a common withdrawal symptom. A physical withdrawal from a drug like nicotine is not easy. Are you doing any research online to learn more about the physical and emotional withdrawal process? Knowledge is empowering, go for it!!

I used the Nicoderm patches when I quit before. They really helped me. I had to take it off at night, because they made me have crazy weird dreams! If I took it off about an hour before I went to bed it was better.

I quit for 2 1/2 months and thought I was "all that." I found out that I wasn't. Thought I could just smoke a couple a day and keep it in check. Nope! Couldn't do that.

I'm trying to set my mind to do it again. It will take more than me to do it.

You can do it!! Good luck!!

No you're not! You made an effort, you moved a muscle, you tried, that's more than a lot of people can lay claim to. Take stock of this event and utilize what you learned for when you try again. Most people try many times to stop smoking before they actually do. Let this be a stepping stone for when you do. You did good!

You are NOT a failure!! Please don't knock yourself down.

I'm with you!! I'm gearing myself up to do it again myself.
