The medication that I am on made me smoke even more cigarettes, it took me 8 months to quit smoking using a delayed gratification and reduction technique. Exposing myself to an 8 month long withdrawal from cigarettes gave me motivation to never smoke again.

Good for you. I'm sorry you had to go through so much anguish, but I'm glad you found motivation. Quitting smoking is one of the best things I ever did for myself. Good luck.

Congratulations on your success!
Quitting smoking is harder to do than many other addictions! Give yourself a pat on the back, and I like how you call it "detoxing", because they are toxic! Wishing you continued success! Sincerely, Pfrog! (A former 3 Pack-A-Dayer That's 22 Years Smoke Free!) ![]() |
