I quit smoking three years ago after smoking 30+ years, but am having smoking dreams. It's strange, as I don't really crave them during the day. I wish my dream smoking was unpleasant, but it's quite satisfying. I quit drinking 8 years ago & had drinking dreams for quite a while. Does anyone else out there who has quit a habit have such dreams? They're kind of disturbing when I wake up. It's like, "Man! I screwed up!"

My mind is blocking my dreams for a long time now. But it sounds like in your dreams, you are acting out enjoying something that is not good for you. Do you have a crush on someone, or anything like that?

So far I can only remember one vaping dream, it was the first time I had vaped and not smoked. Everywhere I went, everyone loved me for quitting smoking.

I don't have a crush on anyone & I dream about other bizzare things all the time. I guess I engage in a lot of REM sleep. In other words, dreaming is nothing out of the ordinary for me...just the smoking dreams.
Thanks for this!

I quit smoking cigarettes about 20 yrs. back and early on, I dreamed of smoking. Cigs were my best friends, after all. More important than me. I no longer dream about them, I waved goodbye for good, I hope.
Maybe the fact that you woke up feeling guilty is a clue. Even though I quit, there are plenty more things to feel guilty about, (insert laugh here).
Good for you for quitting--it's one of the hardest things to do. No guilt there!
Thanks for this!

Yes, in that first dream I had, I woke up euphoric. It was a great dream for a great new change I had made.
Thanks for this!

Dreams? I don't know why, but my first go to upon the mention of dreams is the 'dictionary'

I decided to just clip it/screenshot as opposed to cut/paste.

It's good to learn from one another. I might need to remember this in case in occurs for me as I make it further down the tobacco free path. Smoking Dreams?
Thanks for this!
