I want to quit because:
  • I want to breath easier, (I have asthma)
  • I want to smell good, (I'm vain! LOL!)
  • I want to feel good
  • I want to live longer
  • I want to give a good example to my son who is a heroin addict, about getting over an addiction
  • I want to give a good example to my students
  • I want to feel better!
  • I don't want to go outside in the rain
  • I don't want to go outside in the cold
  • I don't want to go outside in the snow
  • I don't want my house to stink
  • I don't want my car to stink
  • I don't want to stink!
  • I don't want burns in my cloths
  • I don't want burns in my carpets
  • I dont' want burns in my furniture
  • I don't want burns in my countertops
  • I don't want ashes on my tables, floors, food, car, or anywhere else!
  • I don't want wrinkles!!!
  • I don't want to smoke anymore!!!!!
What reasons do you have to quit smoking???
List yours, even if they are the same as mine. Add more to mine.
Writing them down helps.
Print them out and you can refer to them anytime you need a quick reminder!

Remember, we *can* do this!
Together, we can do anything!!!

Peace!

Reasons I want to quit....

1. I want to actually finish something
2. I want to not be on oxygen by the time I'm 40...My GP told me I would be if I continued to smoke
3. I want my asthma to get better
4. I don't want to die of lung cancer or any other cancer...cancer runs rampant in my family..my dad just got over colon cancer and my aunt and a cousin are battling cancer one lung cancer and the other breast cancer.
5. I don't want to die of Empheysma (sp) my mom's birth mom did after years of smoking and I remember how horrible it was.
6. I want to be honest with Dr. Baker when I see him next.
7. I want to not have to spend the money on it so I can spend the money on something more fun.
8. I want to quit so that when I have my reconstructive surgery I heal well.

Yea, Jan,
The money saved is a big one!
I'm going to the Azores at the end of August.
And I want to have a good time!
One part of that good time means *not* being chained down by a pack of sickarettes!
And having the money I want to do what I want, when I want,
Like swimming with the dolphins.

Peace!

it's expensive, it's unhealthy, craving cigarettes make me anxious, kills my already dead appetite, it tastes gross, it's depressing and i cough up goo!
Thanks for this!
