Here;s something I read that often motivates misunderstanding and confusion in our lives and those we are in relationshio with;
Often we are not just in fear of "I'm going out of my mind!" . . .
Rather we are in fear of "I'm going out of YOUR mind!"
and are scared that we have no impact on another.
Its scarey to feel abandoned so we communicate our fear by causing another to feel what its like to live in our own head. If I feel crazy and dont know how to describe the feeling it can be communicated by driving you a little crazy until I see I've made an impact and gotten a response.
Thats what we do when we are preverbal infants and also when we are non verbal adults in pain of the past.
