Kayliegh, you have to like yourself, then the self-love is there and yes it is important, without self-love how can you truely love others

Angie..
I know what you mean that you have to love yourself before you can love someone else, but it's so much easier. Just don't get it.

kd..
Well I gotta start by just accepting myself in general.

Ry..
Just don't know how to do it..need someone who understands, that's already at that point..

What is this?

Ry, I did have a t at one point in time, from June to August last year. Saw him 5 times and said that I was improved, it was all just a phase kinda thing. My mom wasn't going to take me anymore anyway. She thinks it's too much of a hassle to have to come pick me up from school and get me out of classes to go to appointments. Jerk. (her, not you)

Yeah Jen, me too..good luck!! ((((Jen)))) if okay..

I'll never understand why parents refuse to help their kids. It really upsets me. Could you try talking to her about it again? It sounds to me like you want to be in therapy so that you can feel good about yourself. You certainly deserve to.

((((((((((((((((((((KAYLEIGH)))))))))))))

I am working on this in T. The begining stages, I guess. The tip my T gave me first was to look into the mirror and notice me. Every part of me. She wants me to to pick 3-5 things about my self that I like and to compliment myself. I am to do this everyday. To me, I just think this lets me notice whats on the outside. I want to love what is on the inside too. I got to so my T every Monday. Once we progress on this I will keep you posted on what I have learned. Maybe it can help you as well.
