 Hello my dearest dearest friend - I have been on a goal to finally decide that it is time that I love myself as I LOVE ALL OF YOU SO MUCH. The words and pictures I send to you are so sincere. 'I' should take the things I share with you and COPY them to MY BRAIN so I too can FEEL and KNOW it's okay to feel I DESERVE LOVE FROM MYSELF. |

I think that everyone here who knows you - and there are so many, thanks to your megaposting and your astonishing art - knew that a long time ago. Certainly, I knew it from our first correspondence. I understand you Starlite - you want us to know that you mean and feel everything you write to us. Yes I do feel your concern and love. I very happy that you do realize it's IMPORTANT to love yourself - that's the only way you can truly GIVE love to others.
As my oldest daughter said when she was 4 "I love Mommy, Daddy, My sister and I LOVE MYSELF. Give yourself a great big hug - you deserve it girl!!

isnt it funny how this works?
To love ourselves like we love others .... why is it so tricky for us to see that this too is what we need..... I am glad you have found this for you .... and I hope that you have held on to this knowledge and continue to feel your own love

Hi Starlite. I am happy that you have been able to reach this point.
I still struggle with self-esteem sometimes. But I have a magnet board in my home office where I post my top ten self affirmations, so that when I am feeling low, I can be reminded of the things that I have identified on good days as being good about me.
