and somewhere along the way a person or persons told you otherwise. Those were lies. It is called "projection"----people who didn't love themselves (or hated themselves) told you lies about yourself. It was/is how they really feel about THEMSELVES, and has NOTHING to do with you. THey were not true. Unfortunately, as an adult you have to fight those old tapes.

If a person is confident and loving and happy with themselves, they have no reason to abuse another person.

Abusers are excruciatingly insecure.
Thanks for this!

Yeah. Thanks for sharing. And since this situation is so common one would think that there would be a successful course in school where we would learn how to treat one another in a healthy way instead of having to pay a stranger to listen to our problems.
Thanks for this!

I donno, not everybodys perfect.
Babys arent potty trained and must CRY to express most of there bad emotions. They will make many mistakes in life and some people might think they are ugly. They might look underweight or overweight.
But as long as they grow up and be the best person they possibly can, what does it matter?

Yeah, Pashu, I agree with you. Babies are far from perfect when they're born. I was born two months premature, how's that for perfect? All kinds of problems from the start!!
