I need a hug

I feel like such a loser. I feel like i have no friends. No one I can relate to in my life.

Hello geez!
I'm can relate with you feeling like a 'loser', although like I think you probably agree, I think that's a symptom of low self esteem rather than it being ACTUALLY true. It's great to hear you're working on your self esteem in therapy though. Right now I am working on anxiety in therapy, and I have a feeling that once we have done that then the sessions will be over (I don't like therapy anyway so I don't mind) but I really would love to have more guidance with my self esteem. What are you learning in therapy about it? Is it helping?

I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks for this!

Hi Lisa - can't say I'm feeling like i'm making much ground in therapy with self esteem. It hasn't been a 'topic' so much as my husbands anxiety, my marriage, dealing with past SA , Abuse, and figuring out who the hell I am (I supose that's part fo the self esteem?). Outside of therapy I'm working on getting my body healthy - i guess that can lead to better self esteem?

After your anxiety issues are resolved a topic for you could be self esteem

Wishing you peace.

Figuring out who the hell one is can go a long way to helping self esteem, I think. When we know ourselves better, our emotional responses and actions don't seem so out of whack or "crazy" and we quit being quite so critical of ourselves, have more compassion for ourselves and others.
