I have a few phrases I've written / typed out onto index cards and carry around with me. Positive mantras to remind myself of what I want my mindset to be. Things like "You are enough" or "Different is not bad."
What mantras or phrases help you?

you are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. |

Mine are:
1. "It is what it is." 2. "I am a sensitive person who sometimes sees the world differently." 3. The Serenity Prayer: "Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." If I am having a distracting, unfocused, and unproductive day or am nervous about starting a project, I use the mantra: "Stay focused and know you will be successful." My T told me it once when I had to get major paperwork submitted by a deadline, and it REALLY helps me!! ![]()

1. Just get through this, and then you'll get a hug. (For social situations, we always part with goodbye hugs)
2. You've got a to-do list, start with number one. (For trouble getting things done) Then, I'm on number two, three, etc. 3. Practice makes better practiced. (ehehe... music student...) |

For procrastination issues, I like Tim Gunn's "Make it work". I visualize him saying it to me to encourage me on.
