Hi All,

I was just wondering if self esteem and self confidence are in any way related to being photogenic?? I rarely come good in photos and those too are mostly taken by myself. Even when people say I look good and take photos ,I don't come out looking good . This issue deteriorates my already destroyed self esteem and self confidence. Are all good looking people photogenic? Are all photogenic people good looking in real life too. Please give your opinion.

I'm very good looking (although disgustingly thin) and people have told me that I'm photogenic, but I really don't see it. And usually when I look myself in the mirror I feel ugly, which might be related. My self esteem is usually bad.

Therefore, you are not a good photographer. That you do not look good in photos you take means that you do not have good skills as a photographer, rather than that you do not look good.

In other words, get a professional take pictures of you.
