If you have 20 minutes to spare, this is a video worth watching. It makes you look at self-esteem in a different light. I can't post the ;ink because I don't have enough posts, but it is a Ted talk given by Dr. Brene Brown called Listening to Shame. I found it to be very interesting and at least made me think about what the voices in my head have to say whenever I feel like I want to put myself out there to try something new. I never really thought that maybe everyone has those voices. Some people may be more successful at pushing those voices aside and putting themselves out there anyway.
Thanks for this!

smm138,

Hello and welcome to Psych Central!

Once you have ten (10) posts you will be able to posts links.

I've always found Ted Talks to be very interesting.

I love Dr. Brene Brown. She is so interesting to listen to and always makes good points about the topic she is discussing. I don't think I've watched this one, so I'm finding it right now! Thanks for the share!
