i have been trying to improve my ability to tolerate the alarm and anguish (and yes, revulsion) i feel when i look into mirrors. i have been slimming down, but not enough to justify the sudden change that i had this week.
i looked at my face in a huge mirror. i wasn't ugly. i wasn't fat. i wasn't anguished. i just looked like any other person might. this is a huge step for me. ![]() |

Thank you for sharing this with us, self-acceptance is a journey for many of us but it's good to see a positive example of others reaching this stage.
