I am an extremely stubborn person. Once my mind is made up it is extremely difficult to change it. You might as well try to convince a politician to tell the truth. You'd probably have an easier time with it.
I have virtually no self-esteem. The only exception is I take pride in my intelligence. No I'm no where near a genius but I am very smart and won't stand for others insulting my intelligence. Now me insulting my own intelligence is a completely different story. When I do something like an idiot I will call it like I see it. I often times tell myself I'm such an idiot for doing something stupid. I don't enjoy having a low self-esteem, but I often feel like there is nothing I can do to change it. I mean how would I change it? Yes you are smart? I often wonder about that. I am socially awkward because I'm not good at talking to people. I really would love to be able to walk upto a woman and just strike up a conversation. But that's not going to happen. There are several things that I have not mentioned in this post about my self-esteem. How do you go about fixing something that you 100% believe is true? That would be like me trying to convince you the earth is flat, or the sky is purple. It's just not going to happen, because you know better.

Wow, I can relate. I journal daily, and recently I started using the phrase "it's like trying to believe that gravity doesn't exist".
