I find it really odd, that people assume I have no or low self esteem.

I may have anxiety and have trouble connecting with people but that doesn't effect how I view myself. I'm pretty awesome.

It happened all the time at school teachers would come up to me and ask how I was doing and encouraging me to believe in my own self worth...yet I was already quite sure I was fine...Do I give off the low self worth vibe and not know it?

It gets to be annoying after 20 years of people bringing it up.

I kind of know how that feels. When I was the most depressed I was without all the self hatred. Still people tried to comfort me and said I wasn't as bad of a person as I thought I was. It drove me nuts. Made me not want to talk about depression.

Also I have trouble learning some stuff, I learn pretty slowly and ask a lot. Different things I can learn really quickly. I just know myself well enough to know where I am not a fast learner. If I appear a slow learner people assume it is a self esteem issue.
