This is a "brain dump" right from my daily journal. Please pardon the rough edges. Like me, it is a work in progress.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Think about self-image and image management for a minute. The way you dress, eat, groom yourself, take care of yourself, talk to yourself, allow others to treat you ... all of these things are both created by your self-image, and they also sustain and modify your self-image ... this affects both the image you have inside, and the image other people have of you in their minds (and therefore affects how they treat you). So, be more aware of it and deliberately change it if you wish to, in order to modify your sense of competency and worth and how other people interact with you. To do so, you must consciously choose specific daily habits to practice that will have the effects you are looking for." |

Great post! Thanks for sharing.
What kinds of daily practices do you mean that will bring about changes? |

Regarding self-image, have any of you heard of a book called "Psycho-cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz? It's considered one of the best self help books of all time and talks a lot about self-image. It's an amazing book and there's some really great tips on how to change your self-image for the better in it.
