Everyone has permeable boundaries, Perna. If not, then maybe they need to rethink theirs. A house wall is hardly permeable.

Boundaries can be thought of as firm yet flexible. Your boundary moves with you and is selectively "permeable." You are in charge of what you allow into your boundary. If something comes at you that you agree with or fits your experience of yourself, you can choose to allow it in and incorporate it into your "I" messages and self-talk. If, however, something is not a part of you or is not true for you, you can choose to leave it outside of your boundary.

You might be doing good self-care...
If you tell your family what is wrong instead of saying "nothing" all the time. I opened up to my husband yesterday and it actually felt good. |

I must not be doing good self-care because I can't think of a thing to add.
I'm thinking, though! __________________ Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. |

You might be doing good self-care........
If you take part in some event like a local art & craft show, or flea market just for the fun of meeting new people. __________________ All my life I have know that I am different.
