In my lifetime, I've been abused, by both my alcoholic mother, and my biological father, and a few family members, and ex boyfriends.
I've also experienced sexual abuse encounters, but I'd prefer not to get into that, but it did not, thankfully, lead to losing my innocence. It has damaged my self esteem, it has caused a lot of difficulties in my life, and it has been a cause of many of my suicide attempts and self mutilation. I hope everyone here knows, they are not alone. That the abuse that happened, happens, is not your fault. It is the abusers fault. You are worth so much. You are all extremely important, and are all human. You are all special in your own way, and never, ever forget; you are all amazing. Don't let this destroy your life. Get help. Speak out. It will be a long road, but the light at the end of the tunnel is there. It will get better. ![]() |
