We think that most of the time our parents do not understand us, but sometimes they surprise us on what they do know and can relate to similar situations we are in, they were our age once. And especially between a mom and a daughter, your both girls, and went through some of the same stuff. You think your mom won't understand if you talk to her, and her yelling at you is making it worse, I understand. But, maybe her yelling at you sounding angry means that she cares for you and is just really worried about you and wants to know what is going on. Sometimes parents or mothers get angry when you won't talk to them because they want to help you. Yeah, I did try to talk to my mom, she understood most of the stuff, but then there were times when she didn't understand at all, but instead of getting upset with her, try to explain why you feel like that, don't say you don't understand and walk out of the room or away, you won't know how she feels or if she even understands what you are saying and how you feel, till you try it. I'm not saying she will understand, all I'm saying is just try to talk to her, and if she doesn't try to explain to her, then if that does not work, then I guess she does not understand. But parents don't know everything, or understand everything, but just please give it a try and see what happens. And for you being loved, maybe talking to her, she'll show more love towards you and say she is proud of you and things like that, but you won't know till you try. Just be calm, and understanding of her to, and talk to her about how you feel and why, and if she does not understand, like I sais before, just try your best to explain, but the MOST important thing is to not get mad at her for not understanding, and YOU MUST remain calm, meaning don't just walk out without trying to explain first. K???? Just try and see what happens.
And if it does not work, I'm sorry for causing you more pain, I really am, only if it does not work, and if it does, congradualtions, and good job. I'll be praying and hoping it does work, if you try it.

Being a teen can be tough. I'm sorry you and your mom aren't communicating. Shutting her out won't help though. TC
