So. I really need to know what someone's supposed to do when one of their parents physically attack them...and the other parent refuses to be a witness, and both of them won't let you be anywhere near a phone to call the cops....?

I experienced something similar as a child. But not quite as bad. My brother was very abusive toward me. It was rough, he never held back and when I would try to call my mom he would snatch the phone, beat me until I gave it to him or unplug it from the wall. He would carry the phone unplugged around all day long. Eventually I would have to do something so when he wasn't looking I took off out the front door (sometimes the back door) and knock on each neighbors door (luckily we knew our neighbors, I would not recommend knocking on anyones door you didn't know) when someone answered I would ask to use their phone, crying my eyes out, and they would let me.

Then calling mom I would be on hold sometimes 30-45 minutes. I would help the old woman across the street feed her cat and give it medicine, we would watch TV together during that time, got to know her pretty well because of those visits.

I didn't call the cops, but I had to make that phone call and was physically stopped from doing it. Even if I had to crawl out my bedroom window sometimes I would. And when you're in danger people are kind to let you use their phone. Just remember not people you don't know, it could end up making the situation worse

ticli-otops when you get the chance, tell your school counselor or teacher or anyone you trust as an adult who can help you. My stepfather would beat be, bust my lip open or blacken my eye and then they would call the cops and tell them how I was running away or whatever else they could say. Tell an adult you trust as soon as you can. You have access to the Internet... Email the police or CPS or anyone else who will listen, we didn't have the Internet when I was your age.
Thanks for this!
