THESE DAMN FLASHBACKS AND NIGHTMARES ARE DRIVING ME OUT OF MY FREAKING MIND!!!! I don't know why this is happening again!!!!! I have not been this bothered with them since I had ECT (Shock Therapy) about 4 years ago. I thought that this battle was finally over....WAS I EVER WRONG!!!!! What's even more frustrating is that since then, I have gotten an AAS in Socialwork, So, I am supposed to know how to make this all go away. Why is it that I can help others very well, but I can't seem to help myself?!!!

The light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train!!!!!

Me, have you processed these flashbacks in therapy? The only way out is through.

dear blameme, have you heard of "Desensitization Therapy" , where you face the thing that upsets you, over and over again, until it no longer has that power over you ? the getting upset is actually the current issue, not the reason for it, wouldn't you say ? it's just time to take a second run at this, now that you are stronger. i hope you find a permanent solution to this flashbacks having such power in your life. Gus
