In high school a lot of people like giving out hugs....
I hate hugs, I love them at the same time if you know what that means... but how do I deal with them? I long for them and love them, but at the same time hate them and with they did exsist, how do I deal? how? sorry.... maybe I should be asking such sill questions.. thanks Jenny

I'm like that too. I really dislike hugs from just about everyone except for my Dad. I don't really how to deal though, I have a big issue with personal space; I like my bubble and don't like people getting into it.
I think you have to figure out what exactly it is that you hate about it. Do you only get those feelings about hugs from everyone, or only certain people? I know that I only like hugs and any type of physical contact around someone who I can trust and completely let my guard down; where I could just fall away into the moment and soak up every last bit of warmth. I feel like that around my Father, but everywhere else hugs are uncomfortable, cold, and I never respond to them. |

I feel the same way. Everybody is hugging, even when they first meet you. I think that it cheapens it.
