Yesterday's oprah was on child abuse, then watched a terrible SVU Law and order episode, this morning on The Early Show, a segment on Self injury. I feel so crazyyyyy.

I know what you mean. Some shows really trigger me bad. I have learned to stay away from them all together. I even avoid the news also. info overload

Yeah, I wonder if media folks ever even consider this kind of thing when they're putting together programming. (Probably not.)

I am tired of criminals using child abuse and mental disorders as an excuse for their actions.
Anything with those situations in them on media progams, whether real or fictional, I can't stand to watch.

It doesn't help with the already difficult light we're put in. Most of us don't commit crimes. When's the last time you've seen a program highlighting that?
