As sorry as I am that you have to deal with this type of person in your neighborhood, I applaud the notification of all the people. An extra talk with the children about safety and strangers is always good and being aware yourself can help you be mindful of what is going on around you and your friends, family, etc.

If this was a common practice, I wonder how many innocent people would be saved from some terrible ordeals.

The worst thing is our backyards are catty-corner to one another and we both have a straight, unobstructed view from my bedroom window to his den, he has a sliding glass door and curtains are always open. He was 12 when we moved in here, he got in fights with my son when they were children. When he was first busted about 8 years ago his mother, my friend Cathy completely shut down, withdrew and became an agoraphobic, never leaving her house....been almost 8 years now.
