how do you calm yourself when youre so scared to go to t. so scared youre shaking and havent even left yet. im so scared its going to be bad today. i think im going to be triggered again. cant wait till the collage stuff is done and can throw it away. never have to look at it again! or talk about it! is beginning to freak me out. i cant stand the intimate part of it. or the vulnerability expected. its going to send me over the edge. how am i supposed to get past that. bracing myself for today.

I understand Suzzie - try slow deep breathes and remind yourself that you CAN do this! I know that it is tough. Do you need a pocket rider?

I get the freaking out part, it's helps me to remind myself that the only way out is through. It IS so hard, but I believe in the end it's the way to healing. Good Luck and hang in there!

Do you have a plan for after? Some good coping skills - distractions, meditation, relaxation? I know it's easier for me if I have a plan for the after part. I'll be thinking of you and sending all kinds of positive vibes your way!

I wish I would have been able to come here sooner today. You can tell your therapist all of these things? How you are afraid of being triggered over the collage. How you are afraid of being vulnerable and intimate in session.
