One of the teachers at my school is on 'administrative leave' while they investigate rumors of inappropriaate activity with a student. Both deny anything happened. I don''t know what to believe. So many rumors. I feel bad for everyone involved in all of this.

What is upsetting is it brings back memories. Flashbacks are back once more, and I have a hard time telling anyone around me. I'm not sure if I should talk about it, cry about it, or just keep it in until it explodes out along with everything else.

Hi doggy, wow, nothing like being triggered at school to ruin yer day, huh? Sounds like a good time to focus on taking care of yerself. Do you have access to counceling? Talking is way better to me than stuffing it and exploding, ya now? Good luck getting through this part of healing.

I'm so sorry this is bringing up painful memories. I'm so glad that we are now older so we can control our environment... but the memories are still painful. You are in my thoughts.

I'm sorry you are going through so much right now. Just keep in mind that the abuse is not happening now.

I've been struggling with my own flashbacks lately and I know how terribly awful they can be. Try to hang in there. We're all here for you when you need us.

ickydog I am so sorry you are experiencing so memories of trauma. You may want to consider just letting yourself go where it wants to. Sometimes our mind knows what we can handle at any time. I would certainly tell your therapist what is going on and she can help you deal with this situation. It is sad that you are even in this place where you have to decide. I hope things are improving for you.

Thanks guys

The school has finally got most of it under control and it's not such a big deal. I'm glad things calmed down. Still struggling with stuff but I think everything will be okay.

Ickydog,

I hate being in an environment, where there is negative emotional tension and uncertainty. I vote for talking over exploding too. Glad things have calmed down a bit, but we're here for you if you need to vent.
