I went to this club where my daily support group was held.
This club is not affiliated in any way with this group and requires membership for me to hang out there. Sometimes I have arrived early for group and I have tried to respect this rule. Yesterday, I went in and got confronted by a door with a sign on it saying, "Members only". I was sooooo scared that they were cracking down on non-members trying to hang out there for free. Because I had arrived there early sometimes. So I was standing outside and someone finally opened the door and said, "Carol why are you standing out here?" I told them I was afraid to go in. I told them how that sign made me feel. So intimidated and how scared I was of being "cracked down on". That was not it. They had the door closed because of cold weather. Thank goodness! I am so glad I was able to ask them about this and straighten it out. I had been starting to feel again like a little girl being scolded for intruding. Carol

I inquired about being a member there, Wednesday. They want my home address and I have to tell them I can't do that becaues I was a stalk victim. I hope my email address is enough.

I hear that voice... it tells me whenever i make a mistake, or tells me that stupid unimportant things are mistakes. Like when i see another driver on the road doesnt have their windshield wipers on the same speed as mine. I can hear them saying how stupid I am. I can hear him...
The voice is always there. |

Yeah, that voice is never happy with me.
If anyone saw the "Star Trek---The Next Generation" episode, "Skin of Evil", I am beginning to identify that voice with Armus. Carol

its difficult sometimes, but always important, to remind myself that its not my voice. I like me
 . That voice doesn't. I may never get rid of that voice, he's been out of my life for 17 years now, but I'm learning that i don't have to listen to it anymore. I choose how i feel now, not him. Well, i try...
