Just now remembering past abuse...

I just had the weirdest memory.

Im in my grandparents house in their bed room watching TV. My mom and grandparents are in the kitchen. My older boy cousin, about 16 at the time, comes in the room where I am. He says something.
(This part is a little blurry)
I remember him holding me down and touching me 'down there' and I was trying to flip over so I could pin him down and run away. But I was only 11ish at the time. Then I remember him punching me in the stomach and slapping me. I yelled for my mom and she came in, but too late. He made it look like I was annoying him while he was watching TV. (But everybody knows I'm the only one who likes SpongeBob.) so I got in trouble for this...

What would you call that? Inappropriate behavior? Or something more?

I've only been able to remember bits and pieces. I do remember another time where he touched my boobs. But my childhood is the BIGGEST blur I have. So remembering this was huge for me.

Considering the father of that particular boy cousin is a wanted felon and alcoholic. And the sister is a drug addicted teen mom. I'm not really surprised about his behavior.

Anyway... I was just wondering what you would call that incident?

maybe this is a suppressed memory, that your mind is blocking out due to a traumatic experience. I think he was being more than inappropriate at 16 he knew what he was doing. I think you should bring this up with your T if you have one
