<font color="purple">Thank you all soooooooo very much!!!

I think I am still in shock, I did break down breifly once.....

She is having nightmares now my daughter :( They dont include the incident or the other person involved... but her nightmares I feel are a refelction of it....

She was great while being interviewed.... It was done in a child freindly place, thankfully.... She calls it the saftey center.... She is open about telling people that she went to the saftey center and "told only the truth no lies" about what happened..... I admire her courage.... I didnt have that courage when I was being abused... My family didnt find out until a few months ago.... So my little girl is such an inspiration and I cant say enough how brave she is.....

My main concern is keeping her safe and that she is processing what happened..... Hard to explain because she mentally and developmentlly delayed by approx 5 yrs....

The center is offering support for her and my other kids with counseling and also classes on self defense and ways to voice that saying NO is more than ok ....

Thank youagain for all the support and prayers and well wishes.... They are TRULY appreciated..... I am VERY greatful that PC exists!!!

ive heard that if a child gets suppport for the abuse promptly after, and has a supportive enviornment, that they are very resilient and heal. hope that offers you some hope.

I wish you, a brave Mom, and your daughter, a brave girl - much courage and strength as you deal with this.
