When I was a kid, my dad would spank me 'til I cried. When I started crying he'd ask why I was crying. When I told him it was because it hurt he'd say: "It's supposed to hurt." As I got older he started using a leather belt and wire coat hanger. I think he really believed he was doing the right thing. Has anyone else had this experience?
