I feel so stupid. I was hurt at work and my injury to my ankle isn't healing. The doctor they sent me to asked a lot of questions. Because I had migraines starting at nine ge asked what happened at nine? Told him there was a lot of trauma. He guessed sa and physical abuse. Unfortunately, I also used to cut on my ankles and you can see tge scars. And I have fibromyalgia. So now, I get this report from workman's comp saying that my ankle pain is too severe for the injury like I'm a nutcase and due to my history I just need to see a psychiatrist. I went to an independent doctor who said that my ankleis still injured and fibromyalgia and my history has nothing to do with it. But I feel so humiliate. I have a lawyer but I'm so stressed and I think copies of this went to hr and when I can go vack to work now-i don't want to see any if those people. Aaargh. Also,, seriously. The cutting didn't injure my tendons and the sa --what in the heavens did that have to do with my ankle? I so upset I can't sleep even with my ambien.)

Well, you have every right to feel angry with that! Sounds like they are trying to wriggle out of responsibility. So sorry, hugs ((((((( likewater )))))))) What about a second opinion or get your own doc to fight your cause?

Actually, if the information DID go to HR, then you can use that to your advantage. When they try to fire you (and they will), you can sue them for discrimination. I know a guy who got injured at work and had to take a few weeks off. They fired him as soon as he got back. So yeah, "seeing these people again" is probably not a long-term problem for you.
