I keep getting stuck in recent difficult events especially with my husband. There are good things but I stumble over the trials. It seems I make them worse when I try to talk about them instead of moving on. I need to look at the good and put the bad under my feet. It is hard but in the long run helps. Put the past behind and focus ahead.

I think there is a time when it is right to put things behind us, and perhaps you have reached it - well done.

I'm still at the stage when I need to see the past and talk about what happened to try and figure it out.

Difficult things happening now - T says that if they're in the same cognitive domain as unresolved past events they can act as triggers. Trying to work through this, but it's not easy.

((Pianogirl)), I hope things are on a positive path for you now. It's good to hear about things working.

In pain up to my ears tonight. Felt better earlier. There are things that set me back. It is very difficult.

I'm so sorry. Wish I could do something to help.

I can't remember, apologies, do you have a T? It might be worth discussing the best way forward for you - whether it's a put-it-behind-you approach or something else.

Just a thought - there are a few threads on here about noticing positives or being thankful for things. Might it help to post on those, if you don't already, to try and focus on the good as you said in your OP?

Not so good today. I find it difficult to stop hurting myself inside . An old upset with my husband. Got started and it is hard to stop. My husband is trying to do better but I got stuck remembering his cross way of looking at me when I was just innocently trying to speak to him. Question is why am I hurting me? Anger , hurt, history ? He has stopped doing that now it is just in me.
