So I am struggling with this and am in need of advice. Potentially triggering?

When I was nine I was on the school bus and a peer who was also nine pinned me down into the seat and touched me. He pushed his fingers inside of me. I screamed no and tried to get away. I was crying and he didn't stop. I remember him laughing, his breath on my neck. He was my age but much bigger than me and I couldn't get away. It happened on two occasions. No one tried to stop him. I guess my question is, is this considered sexual abuse? Assault? For some reason despite my feelings of the experience, I am searching for a definition...

Thanks for listening! I appreciate any feedback.

Yes, that is sexual assault. You might consider counseling.

Thank you so much for yor reply. I am seeing a therapist. I just have a way of minimizing what happened to me I think bc it was another peer of the same age. I don't know if this happens to anyone else? I don't know if anyone else feels a need to have a definition of what happened to move forward either. Thank you for listening.
