But I feel safe on this forum.. I am a gay male, who survived a rape.. I am a survivor and I don't want to be scared anymore..

Welcome to Psych Central (PC) TheHeathers. Sorry to hear you are a victim of abuse. No one should have to put up with that. the nice thing about PC is you can remain anonymous. Some people put their location as the Southwest instead of a smaller community so they feel secure in bring out their story. Thanks for sharing.

Many people find compassionate, caring people here at PC. Some people find the forums give them the compassion and empathy they seek. http://forums.psychcentral.com

Others like the Chat Rooms after they do five posts or replies to other people's posts.

Some people at PC will find a therapist will help them sort out the roots of their life.
