Hi. I am not sure where this goes, so I am just going to place it here for now.

I went to a Christian college many years ago and my experiences there weren't very good. Ten years afterwards, I still am having arguments and find myself shouting at those faculty members even though they are not there anymore. On occassion when I think about the school, my hands will start to shake a bit.

When I am at work, sometimes I will start to think about the school, the persons there and have a very hard time focusing on my job to the point when I simply will be too distracted of what I am doing. I usually am not employed for very long in many jobs. When I drive I will sometimes think about the school and the persons there and have to pull over until the thoughts pass as well I will start shouting and arguing with them at these points to even though they aren't there.

The community I was in was a Christian Sect so I can only find the place to put it here.

Some feedback would be nice please. What would this suffering be from? Is there aclinical diagnosis for it? How does someone deal with it?

Hi Ecclesiastes and welcome to PC

I'm not a doc, but it sounds like it could possibly be PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My daughter suffers from PTSD and sometimes she has similar situations as you. I could be way off base here too, but it's a thought.

The best way to get it figured out would be to speak to a therapist/pyschologist for a diagnosis. Many times, therapy along with medication will help you get through the trauma. There are a lot of good folks here who may have a better take on your situation than I do.

I wish you well in your quest for answers and healing.

Take good care!
