My mom was raped in Georgia (near Armenia). After that she has psychotic episodes, often violent. She refuses to accept the fact of the mental illness. Her husband refused to involuntary hospitalize her because she would lose her job, etc. She is trying to fight in the Ukrainian war but she does not have even the basic skills. Wars and other traumatic event cause acute illnesses of my mom.

I am deeply sorry that your mom has experienced abuse. No one should have to go through that.

There are lots of compassionate people here that can make the load lighter by sharing and caring. Feel free to participate actively at Psych Central.
