Well normally i hear that when someone suffers from abuse, they will sometimes forget about the incident to 'protect themselves' well i experience this, however,
Possible trigger:

also,
Possible trigger:

i was wondering, the worse the abuse the greater chance you forget it or?
because this happened to me and i had no memory of it, unlike all the others.
Possible trigger:

can someone please explain to me? .
Thanks for reading!
Take care ~

They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they've never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them... because in truth, I am that monster.

Can't really explain to you why you remembered those two and not the third, but yeah stressful situations way be forgotten by some people though it doesn't automatically mean whatever was most stressful for you you'll forget it.

I don't have an answer either misslabarinth as to why some will remember some incidences and others won't remember as much

I thought the block out of memory was some sort of internal protection measure that some will develop.

I also think it relates to PTSD; whether or not this develops at all because certainly not all do.

None the less I found this quick article on PTSD for you here on PsychCentral - it makes mention of memory:

Understanding the Effects of Trauma: Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) | Psych Central

I hope it might have an answer for you there
