I had a nightmare last night about an abusive cousin
(Sexual, verbal and physical abuse)
Not one person in the abusive family of origin was "supportive"
They did a fine job of lacerating my self esteem
And now my body is falling apart too

Hi Fuzzy: I'm sorry you had to re-live this experience. Throughout high school, many years ago now, I was the target of quite violent verbal & physical bullying by a gang of older boys. It went on, literally for years. If they had ever gotten me alone, I'm convinced they would have killed me. Everyone, including my parents, knew what was going on. But no one ever did anything about it. It still haunts me to this day...
