My flatmate and landlord wants to be more than friends. I've been sharing a house with him since July and every weekend he gets more nasty and aggressive.
I've got heart disease which means I get angina attacks but even if I ask him to stop shouting at me because the stress is setting off my chest pain he carries on. I've also got Crohn's disease and since dec I've lost nearly two stone in weight. Bearing in mind he does not financially support me, he acts as if he does. He says I'm burdensome fir being ill- and that I'm a burden on my parents (who have been covering my living costs until I can get back to work). He had promised to come with me to see the cardiologist but when I got the appt through he said he didn't want to use his days up off. He promised to come to all the actual tests which are set throughout end February and all march, but called me on Monday to say he was so down about me being ill, he'd booked himself a two week holiday to Africa. The most he's ever done yo help me out is pick up some fish and chips when I hadn't eaten fir four days, Last weekend he said if I was ill I should stay in my room all day so as not to annoy him. Yet within the same 24 hours he'll be telling me he loves mr and wants us to get together and 'be a proper couple', and get married. I'm working out a plan to get out if here ASAP. I can't go back to my parents as they have no room, although I've even considered putting a tent up in their garden but my gp said that would be crazy given my health this time of year. I feel like I'm going mad because how can anyone act one way one second then flip a switch the next. He can scream at me for half an hour then be whistling as he walks upstairs. |

Your landlord is acting illegally, get out ASAP. As you can be quite easily evicted be wary of taking action without advice.
