Is it possible you are looking to the external "out there" to make you happy instead of looking internally? Many of us seek the 'right' location, career, car, clothes, or romantic interest quell our internal strife. But until we can resolve our traumas and be comfortable in our own skin these other things usually offer us a short term fix at best. Not that these externalities are bad things to seek out - just try to maintain realistic expectations while addressing the inner healing. For the record, I'm not claiming it's simple!
