I know that this may sound weird but I can’t seem to recall my childhood.
I have little memories of very specific things that I have seen in photographs, but looking back I can’t recall anything before the age of 12.
I don’t know whether this is normal or not.
I’m only asking as my younger sister seems hell bent on looking into my past. We no longer talk to each other but my mother mentioned that she thinks everyone is keeping secrets from her and she believes something bad happened to me when I was little.
I’m finding the whole situation very confusing because I remember that I knew what sex was from a very young age around 6-8 years old which im not sure if that’s normal either.
But I have no memory of being sexually abused and surely that’s something that you wouldn’t forget right.
I suffer from alcholic blackouts when I drink so I don’t touch alcohol now but I did when I was younger.
When I was 15-16 I got drunk and told someone my father abused me, but I don’t remember saying it and im not sure why I would say something like that.
My heads a mess and I’m really confused.

I dont think its normal not to have any memories from after eight. The knowing about sex at a young age is normal I think.
