my gf told me bout her father hitting her all the time for small reasons like last time she wasnt talking to her mom n woke up late he wus suffocating her n hit her wid a belt n mostly he hits her for no reasons n when she talked to her mom bout it her mom said hes doing it for her best n because her loves her n all but hitting her for waking up late n mostly for no reasons? i asked her to call da child abuse or police but she thinks its gonna get worse n they will send her back to her hometown n she dosnt wanna go there, i told her to do n listen to what they ask her to do n she did but still her dad hits her mostly n leaves bruises and scars on her body. he told her hes doing it for her best n all but hitting her when she didn do nythin is total abuse, she wanned to suicide but i stopped her somehow but wut if she loose it tries to suicide!? what can i do to help her stop her dad from hitting her?

Try to find some external help -- someone outside the family. Checking to see what is available could be a first step. That does not commit you (or her) to anything. Only take the next step if the first one seems OK.
