i very often have dreams that are set in a large tall house with several stories. sometimes its the convent part of my old school, sometimes its the house i lived in for a year when i was 2 and where my father worked for years after that and sometimes its an unknown large house that is familiar in the dream. sometimes im searching through it, sometimes running, sometimes its the scene for a fire or evil (vampires etc). i remember going back to that house we used to live in when i was older. cobwebs everywhere. it was weird. my grandmother used to live in a large tall house too. she visited us often in that house my father worked in.
some people say they remember things that happened to them when they were really young. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 etc. how is that possible? is it maybe because such intense/extremely emotional experiences just stand out? i do have a couple of intense memories from when i was young though i cant pinpoint the age so that would make sense to me.
anyway. that house bothers me. whatever fecking house it is. i just wonder why i dream so often of a big tall house. why do we have repetitive dreams like that? maybe i ll ask T next week.
damn. here come tears again. third time today.

(((((((((((((biiv))))))))))))

I too dream about the houses I lived in as a child. Specially when the abuse was bad, I dream a lot of it. My t says it's the memories I am not letting go of. I hate those dreams, as I am going through therapy they are more vivid and more often. They also affect my mood for the day. Feel free to pm me anytime.

Love you sweetie, jinny xoxoxoxoxoxxo

I found this web site about dreams and there was something about houses. I don't know if it's any help at all. I know how horrible dreams can be and I'm sorry your having such a hard time.
