My mums bf was so friendly with me that he started taking me out in his lorry while he worked as a driver .
I guess i was about 7 or 8
( trigger ) one day he bought me tights . i thought that was so nice of him . he got me to try them on and i told him not to look although i didn't realize about the mirrors . after i put them on he told me to open my legs and tear them off . i suddenly knew something wasn't right and i refused .
Afterwards he told me if i told me mum she would believe him and not me . i replied " is that all ? It takes more than that to scare me . "
" like what ",he said
" like that you will kill my mum and dad ".
" OK I'll kill them " he said . i could tell in his voice he didn't mean it . unlike my friends dad who previously sexually abused me .
I didn't tell my mum but i told him i would if he did anything to my little sister .
Do you think he knew ? That i had been abused before ? He left me alone after that until i was a teenager . i also confronted my mum that he was abusing my sister . i had forgotten about the tights incident because i found away to block out the abuse of the other man and what he tried to do . i only remembered as an adult . my mum redponded by kicking me out the house . i wonder if he knew or maybe even cared that it had happened to me before . i doubt it but i still wonder . i don't know what goes on in the head of someone like that . (trigger )

What he done was wrong. He may not have known but it doesn't sound like it would have mattered. He had a history of hurting children. I am so sorry that happened.

I would report the guy tell them you saw him spying on some one in the window to the police. Contact social services and report him as pedophile anonymously. Let the neighbor know who she is dating who has a history of sexual abuse. I'm sorry that this as happen to you. No one believe what my uncle had done to me.

I agree what he did was wrong. It does matter. I think he knew he was in the wrong. Great big hug. I'm sorry that this has happened to you!

Hello Queen!
My experience is perps do not need any history of their targets. They assess the situation in other ways to see just how far they can take the victims to be exploited. Growing up i was assaulted by 8 perps 3 of whom were relatives, 2 neighbors. Sadly, once they have abused they will move on to their next victim. Until, and if they get caught. I'm glad you held your ground for the protection of your sister and I'm happy he didn't bother you further. It prepares us for the next time. The rumination tho stays with us long after the assault. Its the dirty little secret we carry. Glad for this forum as the best step towards recovery is getting it out and being validated. Education is something which can never be taken from victims of abuse. As it empowers one (eventually) for seeing the truths for what they were. May you find your truths.
