Holiday season is coming and many of us are expected to spend time with the family members. My sister used to abuse me physically and emotionally growing up and used to hurt and humiliate me on daily basis. I was planning to visit my family in a different city this holiday season and was planning to stay with my parents. Because of the new variant, they have asked me to stay with my sister. I want to see my family, but staying with her would be difficult. she still thinks of me as someone who she can bully and boss around, and I am still scared of her. I am very close to cancelling my trip but I still want to see my parents. Staying at a hotel is not financially possible. I have cousins in the area but they were her cheering crowd during our fights growing up so staying with them is better but not ideal. I would welcome any suggestions.
