I am so angry right now and didn't know where to post this...if it's in the wrong place please move it to the appropriate forum.
My dad was joking around....first about the dog...then he asked if I treated my ex, Nick, nice and I said stalkers don't have the right to be treated good. Then he started laughing...I told him stalkers need to be in jail and that stalking was a crime...more laughter. I had to go to my room...I am hurt, angry, etc. Why do I always have to pay for what someone else did? Why is it always my fault when I am raped, molested, stalked, abused in any way???? According to my father it is! I didn't ask for any of this and I never did anything to deserve this! |

that is really tough,not having the support you so need from your father. But please remember that in no way, EVER is any of this your fault. And that you have unlimited support here with your friends at PC  .Please take care and keep venting.

Sounds like Dad has some serious issues going on himself TGoth.
I'm sorry your feeling down about this....I can relate my parents were never meant to be parents. I'm sorry your dads laughing about this....it must be terribly painful. I've had a lifetime of hate/love with my parents and unfortunately sometimes its all we know. We don't realise the wonderful genuine people we really are so we gravate towards others like them!!! Its not your fault though, keep telling yourself that over & over abusers make you feel like its your fault....its sad but true. Hang in there TGoth.....
