The abusers told you these things, only to make themselves feel better, to try to justify their actions because deep inside whatever had remained of their minds they knew what they were doing was wrong. But the truth is that you do matter, that you are worth just as much as everyone else, and that you not only deserve to be loved, but that you are indeed a very loveable person.

Although I cannot honestly say that I understand you (how can I if I wasn't an abused child?), I am here to litsen, to empathise, and to care. We all care about you here, and I know how much your girlfriend must love and care about you. I know it's hard to see, maybe even impossible to see right now, but it's there.
