I told my ex, who is now my friend, that I was going out with a mutual friend. She got really mad and brought up the fact that his best friend may have raped me. I mean I didn't want to but I did for fear that he would rape me...so is that rape? I don't know. I hope this doesn't kill our already existing friendship...which doesn't look too good. What do I do? Should I stay with this guy or not?

Ok first off, does he know about his best friend raping you? Second, is there some reason why he should be responsible for that? I don't understand why your ex thinks you shouldn't hang out with this guy based on that.

Are you saying you had sex with him b/c you were afraid that he would rape you? Did he manifest behaviors that would suggest that he would rape you? Or is this b/c of your personal history that you thought this? I think that would determine if it was rape or not. and ultimately if you should see him again. Despite which every one it is, i think it would be good to talk to your therapist it.
