Hi,

"get over it" is a pretty tall task. For me, it's like a nightmare I remember, am glad I'm awake and hope I never have to dream it again. But day goes on even after the nightmare.

I don't know of any one who just gets over it. Sometimes it's forgotten, especially as children, but once it's out there, it seems to me, something from within pushes, coaxes, yearns for healing.

You can get over it if you're willing to do the work, be patient with yourself, be kind to yourself, respect and have other people respect your boundaries.

It really is a tall order...but doable.
