Occasionally, I get really sullen, and its like my mind can not concentrate. I have to escape through television or food or something. Its like something is agitated inside..and the only way for it to subside is for me to cut or eat or act out in some way. I'm not sure if I have explained this well? What is this? What does it mean? Is it a mania? Is it a nervousness? Should I be on meds specifically for this?

It may be part of agitated depression. Or anxiety. Speak with your doc about it. Hope it gets better.

That sounds like me when I get anxiety attacks or trigger from my ptsd. I think it's okay to blow off some steam to relieve the pressure. Just do it in a safe way, okay?

Thanks all. The reason I asked is because im getting my meds re-evaluated. I'm not sure how to tell the T about this aspect. I'm not sure if it is abnormal or just comes with depression.
